Yes. Everything on Matt La Moda is authentic menswear from the brands we stock. We buy from authorised channels and sell only genuine items.

Hackett London began in 1983, when Jeremy Hackett opened a small shop on the King’s Road after years of buying English clothes on Portobello Road. Demand outgrew the vintage rails, so he started making new pieces in the same spirit: Savile Row manners, modern cuts, and a British wardrobe a man could actually wear. Polo, rugby and later Aston Martin Racing became part of that story. The clothes still sit between the city and the weekend.

This sale gathers that range at reduced prices. There are Oxford shirts in butcher stripe and classic white, piqué and Pima cotton polos — including Aston Martin Racing graphics — and knitwear in merino, cashmere mix and cotton cardigan weights. Technical AMR jackets and navy sweatpants sit beside check and Donegal trousers, swim shorts, leather sandals, and the smaller pieces that finish a look: Union Jack merino scarves, wallets, card holders, cufflinks and underwear. It is not a single category markdown. It is a cross-section of Hackett as independent retailers still buy it.

The through-line is recognisable rather than loud. A pink Oxford polo or an aqua butcher-stripe shirt works with chinos; an AMR soft-shell is the layer for travel and paddock-style weekends; a wool-cashmere check trouser takes a poplin shirt into something closer to town. Fits run from slim through regular and classic, which matters when you are buying sale stock and need the cut to match what you already own.
