Ted Baker Sale

ted baker sale

Ted Baker began in Glasgow in 1988 as a men’s shirt shop, named after a fictional gentleman rather than a living designer. It was British tailoring with a wink: prints, texture, colour and small details that made a familiar garment look less ordinary.

Floral prints on navy grounds, all-over ombré spots on Polos in light blue and pink, a white short-sleeve shirt with a car motif, striped and knitted Polos, and regular-fit textured T-shirts in navy and tan. These are weekend and smart-casual pieces: open at the neck with dark denim, tucked into chinos, or under a plain knit when you want the print contained. They are not boardroom shirts, and they are not meant to be.

Around them sit the smaller Ted Baker pieces the shop has always carried such as: leather belts and gloves, reversible cuff-links, a tweed baker boy hat, and the occasional novelty as well.
